Position Overview
We’re hiring a Mitigation Technician to assist with water damage restoration and mold remediation projects. This hands-on role involves working with specialized equipment under supervision to ensure properties are restored safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform water extraction , pumping, and structural drying
- Assist with mold removal and antimicrobial applications
- Move and protect client contents
- Set up and monitor drying equipment
- Build containment systems (polyethylene enclosures)
- Remove and dispose of debris properly
- Maintain vehicles and restoration equipment
- Follow safety protocols and company standards
- Accurately report time, materials, and equipment used
- Travel and work nights/weekends as needed
Qualifications
- Knowledge of water extraction and pump systems (training provided)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong sense of urgency, professionalism, and positive attitude
- Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines
Preferred
- Experience with Mitigate and DASH software
Physical Requirements
- Lift 50 lbs frequently; assisted lifting for heavier items
- Work in tight spaces and sustain periods of standing, bending, and kneeling
- Use mobile devices for data collection and time tracking
