Community hospital looking to bring on Nurse Director Surgical Services! Bonus Incentives and Full Relocation!

Ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.

• State-of-the-art Surgical Program: Seven main ORs and two GI procedure suites
• Robotics Excellence: Three da Vinci XI systems with master surgeons who proctor nationally
• High Surgical Volume: Over 600 cases per month — the highest in the health system
• Comprehensive Scope: Oversight includes OR, GI, PACU, Pre-op, and Pre-admission Testing Clinic

Ideal Candidate

Ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in the OR running a robotics program in a surgical environment with high (600+) surgical case load.

Requirements:

• Minimum of five (or 3 clinical nursing experience + 2 years management capacity).
• BSN, Master’s degree in nursing and/or related field, preferred.
• New Mexico Current RN license
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Requires strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
