Marketing & Business Development Manager – Capital Mall

We seek a Marketing & Business Development Manager to develop and implement marketing programs for the Capital Mall retail center that are based on the center’s strategic goals. The three main Marketing areas of focus are: Leasing, Sales and Business Development.

To succeed, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field and/or 3-5 years professional experience in retail and/or related shopping centers
  • Knowledge of marketing fundamentals, research and reporting
  • Excellent with PC, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Illustrator and/or Photoshop
  • Ability to easily learn and use new systems
  • Strong organizational, time management and delegation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
  • Social media skills and experience posting for a company

Your responsibilities as the Marketing & Business Development Manager include, but are not limited to:

Drive Strategic Marketing

  • Lead marketing initiatives that support leasing, sales, and brand visibility
  • Manage budgets and track performance to ensure ROI
  • Partner with property and ownership teams to align marketing with business goals
  • Keep all leasing materials, fact sheets, and marketing collateral updated and on-brand

Lead & Collaborate

  • Work cross-functionally with leasing, operations, and external partners

Boost Brand Awareness

  • Develop and execute integrated advertising and digital campaigns
  • Coordinate media buying, promotions, and PR efforts
  • Plan and host engaging community events and retailer activations

Create Digital Impact

  • Oversee website strategy and user experience
  • Collaborate on engaging social media content and digital campaigns
  • Track analytics to optimize performance

Elevate the In-Center Experience

  • Manage visual merchandising and seasonal décor
  • Support brand consistency across signage, digital assets, and retail displays

Build Community & Tenant Relationships

  • Develop strong relationships with tenants to support sales and marketing goals
  • Create opportunities for cross-promotions and local partnerships

Grow Revenue Through Business Development

  • Source advertising and sponsorship opportunities
  • Develop compelling presentations and custom activations for brand partners
