Job Description
An employer sitting in Petaluma, CA is looking to hire an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist. This person will be performing regulatory inspections, joining staff meetings and performing site audits. This person will be responsible for a total of 3 buildings (2 in Petaluma and 1 in Rohnert Park). He/She will also be required to travel to Melbourne, FL as needed x1-2 a year. This will be a full time position paying between ($115-120k depending on years of experience).
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-8+ years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety
- Ability to perform inspections, conduct writing policies and procedures based off of CAL OSHA, PPE, Environmental etc. regulations
- Understanding of Building Code/Fire Code knowledge
- Obtained a High School Diploma and physical ability to lift 50+ pounds as needed
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Hazardous Waste Operations Certification
- DOT Manifest Signing Certification
Benefits and Compensation
$115,000 to $120,000
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
