SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a Account Director, with experience in Financial Public Relations

*This is an in-office role Monday through Thursday at our Midtown Manhattan office. Fridays are remote.

This is not a financial role

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in PR and possess strong leadership skills, media relationships in the financial space, and a passion for the PR industry.

Responsibilities: :

  • Handle select accounts independently and autonomously.
  • Pitch and place coverage for clients in top-tier publications.
  • Lead and direct all program efforts to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Oversee operational performance of accounts, ensuring quality work, deadlines, and budget adherence.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to junior staff.
  • Play major role in creation of communications plans and goals.
  • Address client issues thoughtfully and effectively.
  • Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content.
  • Contribute to business growth through introducing clients to new capabilities, building network of industry contacts and participating in relevant professional organizations
  • Develop and execute high-quality programs and campaigns from conception to execution to results.

Qualifications: :

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, business communications, or related field
  • 5+ years agency experience preferably in financial services, or business services industries
  • Established media contacts in the financial space
  • Exceptional client service skills with the ability to persuade and influence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to self-manage and guide teams
  • Highly organized and deadline-driven

To comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target range of base compensation for this exempt role is $130,000 "Commensurate with experience". Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and location.
