Location: Winter Garden, FL (On-Site)

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Starting at $100,000/year

Position Overview:

Tempest Roofing is seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Roofing Project Manager to lead and manage a wide range of commercial roofing projects from pre-construction through final delivery. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of roofing systems, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes safely, on time, and within budget.

You’ll serve as the central point of coordination between clients, crews, subcontractors, and suppliers—ensuring the seamless execution of commercial roofing projects across Florida and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of commercial roofing projects, including planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to define project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, allocate resources, and maintain strict schedule adherence.
  • Manage procurement of all necessary materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and resolve on-site challenges.
  • Interpret and enforce compliance with blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams for timely project execution.
  • Utilize hand and power tools as needed for minor on-site tasks (e.g., caulking, tile laying, concrete forming, and restoration work).
  • Prepare accurate project estimates and contribute to bidding and pre-construction efforts.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with all project stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing commercial roofing projects.
  • Strong background in roofing systems, fabrication techniques, and restoration practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial roofing estimating and planning.
  • Skilled in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Hands-on familiarity with hand tools and power tools; experience in tile work, concrete forming, and caulking preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities with a sharp attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while leading cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • B2B sales experience is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to commute to or relocate to Winter Garden, FL prior to start.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
