Job Description Position: Corporate Finance - Associate Location: New York, NY Type: Permanent Salary Range: $110,000 to $125,000 per year Overview: A growing finance team is seeking a Corporate Finance Associate to support financial planning, analysis, and public reporting functions. This role plays a key part in advising senior leadership through financial modeling, strategic projects, and performance reporting. The Associate will work closely with cross-functional teams and report to the Managing Director of Corporate Development. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to public company reporting in collaboration with accounting and investor relations teams Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assess their impact on financial performance Prepare financial presentations for senior leadership and the board of directors Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aligned with corporate strategy Understand and articulate the business and financial model to various stakeholders Collaborate with accounting during month-end and quarter-end closes to provide insights on financial variances Qualifications: ~ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA or CFA preferred) ~3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint ~ Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) or FP&A platforms Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Self-motivated and proactive work ethic Ability to manage projects and deliver results under tight deadlines Excellent communication and presentation skills Team player with strong relationship-building abilities Solid financial modeling and forecasting skills Intermediate analytical capabilities Preferred Skills: Understanding of private markets or asset management firms Knowledge of VBA, SQL, or Python Experience with public company reporting Familiarity with FP&A or expense management systems
