Role Description

The Telecom Construction Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing multiple contract partners and projects related to FTTH builds in our market. This role demands strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle large-scale, fast-paced projects from inception to successful completion with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring quality control, driving productivity, and maintaining contractor compliance with safety and permitting requirements.
• Track and report all aspects of the project, including applying for licenses and permits when required.
• Monitor the consumption of client-provided materials and prepare for monthly audits on material usage.
• Order and track small parts not provided by the client, collaborating with multiple vendors to secure the best pricing.
• Work closely with contract partners to ensure maps are walked out and signed off before work begins.
• Participate in daily client calls to provide updates on project performance and address potential obstacles in the field.
• Ensure contractor street sheets are submitted the night before for the following day’s work.

Requirements

• Must have 2-3 years of cable industry experience.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, fast-paced construction projects.
• Ability to take projects from inception to successful completion independently.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with FTTH projects is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
