Title: Special Education Paraprofessional
Location: Ellicott City, MD
Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm Monday- Friday
Compensation: $18-22/hour (based on experience)
Environment: We need an experienced paraprofessional (teacher's aide) to serve students in a local school district in the special education department.
Job Description: We are looking for passionate special education paraprofessionals for full-time opportunities in the Ellicott City area are 2025-2026 school year. Once the school year ends, you have the opportunity to renew your contract for the following school year. We are looking for qualified candidates for roles in Elementary School, 1:1 and classroom/program aides, and a range of students with individual needs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Desire to work with students with special needs
- Willingness to apply for temporary license
* Although not a requirement to apply, having a Paraprofessional Certification OR Substitute Teaching License is always a plus
** If applying for temporary license, no testing is required!
You will need your High School Diploma or Transcripts showing graduation date; temporary license is valid for 3 years with no restriction and application must be submitted prior to starting position.
