Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, construction, and roofing, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for installing solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties while ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations.   For November and December installs, we are offering premium pay, overtime opportunities, and temporary hourly increases to help complete year-end projects.

• Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops and ground mounts
  
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installations
  
• Perform electrical work including high voltage and low voltage connections in accordance with NEC standards
  
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and trenchers safely and effectively during installation processes
  
• Conduct fixture installations and ensure all components are securely mounted
  
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete projects efficiently
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols
  
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation or testing phases
  

Requirements

• Previous experience as a solar installer or in a similar role is preferred
  
• Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations
  
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to solar installations
  
• Experience with roofing techniques is advantageous
  
• Knowledge of plumbing systems may be beneficial for integrated installations
  
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions
