Senior Graphic Designer
About the Position:
As our apparel business continues to grow, we’re expanding our team! We’re seeking a Senior Graphic Designer with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment—with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities to ensure every customer and order receives exceptional support and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Art Department support between Director and Art Manager
- Department liaison if Director and Manger not available
- Communicate and work cross functionally within design and sales.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills through cooperating with cross-functional team members.
- Communications with global team & factories
- Managing in house accounts ie: Juicy Couture, Von Dutch
- Brand packaging updates and creations
- Print & graphic art development & production
- Create linesheets as needed
- Updating and creating material items using PLM platform
- Mic. graphic support ie: making presentation boards, mocking up hangtags & any in house graphic needs
- Organize and archive art dept. art files
- Organize and archive art dept. developments and approvals
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience
- Proficient in Adobe suite: Illustrator, Photoshop
- Ability to spot new and emerging trends and bring fresh ideas to the team
- Knowledge of design processes with packaging development & techniques
- Knowledge of design processes with print development & techniques
- Working knowledge of screen-printing process
- Fast paced graphic design workload, able to work under tight deadlines and time constraints
- Strong multi-tasking, communication and organization qualities are a must
- Ability to establish, communicate and maintain effective relationships with all departments
- Knowledge in photo editing
- Knowledge in photography is a plus
Salary $80-100k DOE
