About the Role

We're looking for a Scrum Master / Delivery Lead who can sit cleanly between our Product Owner (VP of Marketing & Product) and our development team —owning execution details, maintaining clarity, and keeping priorities tight.

You will be the person who:

• Owns the priority in the moment (what we're doing now, next, and why)
• Can speak to progress across any project at any time
• Unblocks developers quickly
• Translates between non-technical stakeholders and technical builders so everyone stays aligned

This is a great fit for someone who's shipped in a startup environment and knows how to rally a dev team to move smart and quickly.

What You'll Do

• Agile + Delivery Ownership
• Run and improve our “scrumban” rituals: sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, demos, retros, and release planning
• Ensure the dev team has clear, ready-to-build tickets with acceptance criteria and context
• Track delivery health (scope, milestones, risks, dependencies) and keep work moving

Priority & Alignment

• Partner with the Product Owner to maintain a single, clear set of priorities
• Make tradeoffs visible and help stakeholders understand impact (timelines, scope, resourcing)
• Keep the backlog organized, current, and aligned with business outcomes

Unblocking + Problem Solving

• Identify blockers early (requirements gaps, dependencies, environment issues, decisions needed)
• Drive them to resolution—fast—by coordinating across teams and escalating appropriately

Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Provide clear progress updates across multiple initiatives (what shipped, what's next, what's at risk)
• Translate product and business needs into executable plans for devs
• Translate technical reality into simple, non-dev language for leadership and internal stakeholders

Process Improvement

• Build easy-to-follow processes for product development: clear ownership, clean handoffs, less noise
• Introduce lightweight reporting/dashboards so the team and company always know where things stand

What We're Looking For

Required

• 2–5 years experience in a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or Technical PM role
• Experience supporting startup teams building new or unique applications
• Proven ability to keep priorities straight and deliver across multiple concurrent projects
• Strong communication skills: you can adjust your language for execs, marketers, ops, and engineers
• Comfort working with Jira and writing/maintaining high-quality tickets

Strong Plus

• Scrum certification (CSM / PSM) or equivalent experience
• Experience working closely with Product leadership and helping shape/clarify requirements
• Familiarity with release planning, QA coordination, and go-live readiness
• Experience operating in environments with shifting priorities (and keeping things focused)

• Dev team reports fewer blockers and clearer requirements
• Stakeholders get consistent, understandable progress updates
• Backlog is organized, actionable, and tied to business outcomes
• Development commitments become more predictable; fewer surprises mid-sprint
