• Previous roles in UX research, human-computer interaction, psychology, or a related field.
• Experience in assisting moderating user research studies, facilitating training groups or teaching sessions.
• Experience facilitating studies for "devices."
• Microsoft Teams proficiency.

• Familiarity with usability testing tools and platforms.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is hiring a team of Research Assistants to support an existing group of User Research Moderators for in person studies onsite in Menlo Park CA.

Schedule: Full Time Mon - Sat shifts from 12/01 ongoing for 3 weeks.

Overview: The ideal candidate will assist Moderators in facilitating user research sessions, ensuring participants are comfortable and engaged to gather valuable insights on consumer product devices. This is an in-person research study with participants using wearable technology devices.

Day to Day:

* Provide instructions to participants on wearable devices

*Guide participants through various activities to ensure accurate data collection

*Ask follow-up questions and probing for insights as needed.

* Ensure participant sessions run smoothly by assisting managing timing, recording, and troubleshooting any technical issues.

* Take detailed notes and document participant feedback accurately during and after sessions.

* Collaborate with UX researchers to achieve research objectives and methodologies.

* Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor to create a positive participant experience in person.

Compensation: $30/hr to $35/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment.
