Clinical Dietitian

Location: Coos Bay, OR

Shift: Days, 10 hours | 4 x 10-hour shifts

Pay: $29.00 – $39.00/hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team, providing nutrition support and care to patients and staff across multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian who values patient-centered care and a scenic work environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide clinical nutrition support, education, and guidance to patients and staff
• Assist with patient ambulation and transfers as needed
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team
• Adhere to safety standards, including standard precautions and proper body mechanics

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food, Nutrition, or Dietetics – Required
• Completion of an approved dietetic internship or equivalent experience – Required
• Registered Dietitian (or eligible; must obtain within 1 year) – Required
• Licensed Dietitian in Oregon – Required
• Current driver’s license – Required
• Oregon Food Handler, Food Manager, or ServSafe Certification – Required within 30 days of hire

Preferred certifications: Certified Diabetic Educator, Certified Oncology Nutrition Specialist, Certified Nutrition Support Specialist

Minimum Experience: 3 years of experience in clinical or community nutrition

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with computer systems, calculators, and standard office equipment
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients as needed
• Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance
