Installation Supervisor – West Coast Region

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise project execution both onsite and remotely, ensuring installations are completed on time, within scope, and to Guldmann’s quality standards.

- Manage and coordinate installation teams and subcontractors, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.

- Collaborate with facility personnel to schedule installations, minimize disruptions, and optimize resource utilization.

- Enforce safety protocols and quality assurance measures across all job sites, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.

- Act as a liaison between the sales team, clients, and installation teams to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction.

- Assess installation progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, safety reports, and quality checks.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in project management, installation supervision, or a related field, preferably within healthcare, medical equipment, or technical services.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with clients, facility personnel, and internal teams.

- Knowledge of safety standards, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.

- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the West Coast region as required.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry; healthcare sector experience preferred.
• Proven supervisory experience managing multiple projects and teams.
• Strong knowledge of International Building Code, especially seismic applications.
• Ability to be trained and certified in Guldmann product installation.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with ProCore, BIM360, and SmartSheet preferred.
• Excellent organizational, technological, and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Valid passport or eligibility to obtain one for training in Denmark.
• Skilled in using power and hand tools.
• Advanced understanding of construction methods, phasing, and best practices.
• Ability to conduct virtual meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check, conducted in accordance with applicable laws.

Additional Responsibilities as required 

Physical & Mental Requirements

Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move up to 70 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and be comfortable with tight spaces.
