Regional Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid – currently 2 days onsite, subject to change)

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Travel: Up to 30%

Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 annually

Bonus: 15% AIP Bonus

About the Role

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Regional Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join a growing healthcare organization based in Dallas, TX. This operational HR role supports approximately 50 clinical sites across Texas and Arizona, providing guidance and support to practice leaders on a variety of HR functions including employee relations, engagement, compliance, payroll, benefits, and compensation.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site healthcare environment and enjoys being the go-to HR partner for field teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned regions, supporting 50+ clinics across TX and AZ.
  • Partner with practice managers, regional operations leaders, and HR leadership to resolve day-to-day HR matters.
  • Handle employee relations issues, investigations, and performance management with consistency and fairness.
  • Provide operational HR support across payroll, benefits, compensation, and compliance.
  • Liaise with external vendors for benefits and compensation programs.
  • Support talent acquisition needs as required—no dedicated TA team in place.
  • Assist with training initiatives, employee engagement, and retention programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies.
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of HR on escalations and complex employee issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi-site or regional support.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting Texas and Arizona operations and employment law.
  • Strong background in employee relations and employee engagement .
  • Experience within a healthcare organization supporting 1000+ employees required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced HR operations.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Paycom HRIS preferred.
  • SPHR or PHR certification a plus.
