Job Description

Founded in 1996, CMES, Inc. is a rapidly growing, privately held Georgia-based civil construction company. We are seeking to add Project Coordinator to our team to support our continued rapid growth within the highway construction industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the Contract Manager supporting project execution and procurement activities. This position involves coordinating project schedules, maintaining documentation, and facilitating communication between team members and vendors. On the procurement side, responsibilities include assisting with sourcing materials and services, preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring compliance with project budgets and timelines. The role ensures seamless coordination between project and procurement functions to support timely and cost-effective project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Execute PO & Subcontract, Prepare Sub-packages and get approval from the client/owner.
  • Setup Project, Change Orders, POs, Subcontracts in accounting and field system.
  • Maintain all project's document and logs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • Experience reading heavy civil roadway/highway plans.
  • 1-2 years in a similar position within the heavy civil roadway/highway construction oindustry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
