Job Description

I am seeking an experienced MD or DO interested in serving as a Principal Investigator for clinical trials. This opportunity is ideal for a full-time physician who wishes to integrate clinical research into their practice while maintaining flexibility in time commitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will provide medical and regulatory oversight for assigned studies
  • Review patient charts, lab results, and study data remotely
  • Attend sponsor meetings (both virtual and in-person) as needed
  • Ensure completion of required regulatory documentation
  • Collaborate with research staff to ensure compliance with study protocols and regulations
  • Assess and evaluate clinical trial participants to determine their eligibility for enrollment.
  • Ensure participants are treated with respect and have a positive experience throughout every stage of the clinical trial.
  • Perform additional duties as needed based on participant needs, protocol requirements, and company objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with sponsors, clients, and team members to maintain positive working relationships.
  • Provide leadership and oversight of clinical research staff, ensuring patient safety and adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver supplemental protocol training to staff to enhance their understanding.

Requirements

  • Contract – Hybrid/Remote, Part Time
  • 1 year long contract
  • MD or DO degree with active, unrestricted AZ medical license
  • Up-to-date GCP certification
  • Strong interest in clinical research and patient-centered innovation
  • Ability to commit time as desired, ranging from minimal oversight to multiple studies
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Having a private practice is required
  • Knowledge focus within Gastrointestinal, Celiac Disease, Asthma, Allergies, Dermatology, Infectious Disease, Diabetes, Naturopathic
  • Will be mainly working remote but need to have the willingness to travel to sites and clinics when needed. Onsite visits will be scheduled ahead of time
  • Having prior Principal Investigator experience is required
