  • Assists parts customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials.
  • Answers customer questions, providing price quotes and other pertinent parts information.
  • Provides high level of service to both internal and external customers.
  • Pulls and fills orders from stock. Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
  • Notifies the customer when special ordered parts have been received.
  • Follows up on back-ordered parts.
  • Sets up orders for delivery or pick-up.
  • Participates in all training programs that are made available and testing programs made available by GM
  • Requires participates with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
Qualifications:
  • Strong attitude and work ethic.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to work in service/technical environment.
  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record.
  • Prefer previous GM parts, inventory and parts software experience; but not necessary.
  • Prefer previous direct customer contact experience.
Job Type: Full-time Monday-Friday, alternating Saturdays.
