Job Description

The HT Group has partnered with a leading road services provider to find a Night Dispatch Manager to lead and oversee our Night Dispatch Center. This role is critical to ensuring smooth operations across our organization during overnight hours. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator, thrives in high-pressure environments, and is comfortable working with technology in a fast-paced service setting. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for building the team, creating schedules, setting service pricing/quotes, and ensuring that our night dispatch operations consistently deliver efficient, high-quality support.



Location: Ogden, Utah (Greater Salt Lake City Area)

Schedule: Full-time, 5 days/week, 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Compensation: $55,000–$65,000 + bonus



Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Utah Night Dispatch Center operations.
  • Build, train, and supervise the overnight dispatch team.
  • Develop and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage and workflow efficiency.
  • Handle pricing and quoting for service calls during night hours.
  • Monitor performance and ensure dispatch procedures are followed across all locations.
  • Troubleshoot issues in real time to maintain smooth operational flow.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for urgent matters or escalations during overnight shifts.
  • Partner with leadership to identify operational improvements and support long-term growth initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and developing teams.
  • Prior dispatch experience in a fast-paced or high-volume environment.
  • Industry background in towing is preferred; experience in law enforcement or other emergency response fields is also highly valuable.
  • Strong, prompt communicator with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Highly motivated, growth-oriented, and capable of driving culture and performance improvements.
  • Positive and solutions-focused attitude, even in high-stress situations.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new dispatch or workforce management systems.
  • Willingness to be hands-on in a 24/7 operation
