Job Description

Our client, a growing health technology company, is looking for Member Advocate Contractors to join their Customer Experience team in Lehi, UT. This is a great opportunity to help people navigate their healthcare benefits while gaining hands-on experience in a mission-driven environment.

You’ll play an important role during the busiest time of the year — as new health plans launch and members begin using their benefits — ensuring every member has a smooth and positive experience.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the first point of contact for members via phone and email, delivering a compassionate and high-quality experience
• Answer Tier 1 inquiries related to health benefits, billing, eligibility, and plan details
• Guide members through using their healthcare benefits and understanding their coverage
• Learn about health insurance, benefits, and network plans through comprehensive training
• Collaborate with your team and leadership to ensure a seamless member experience
• Uphold the company’s values and help foster a positive and supportive team culture

What We’re Looking For

• A strong desire to help others and the ability to stay empathetic and composed in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Quick learner who can adapt to new systems and processes with ease
• Tech-savvy and comfortable working across multiple platforms
• Reliable, team-oriented, and energized by solving member issues

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years in a customer-facing or high-volume service role
• Experience in healthcare or insurance (a plus, not required)
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Additional Details

• Pay: $19.35/hour
• Schedule: Part-time, temporary contract role (~5 hours, 5 days/week)
• Training: 1.5 weeks of paid training to prepare you for success
