We're assisting our local employer, a rehabilitation center in the Rosenberg area, seeking a professional and friendly Medical Front Office Receptionist.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a keen attention to detail. This position involves managing various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operation of the front office and delivering outstanding service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front office environment.
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and follow-ups.
- Verify insurance information and process patient registration.
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, including collection of co-pays and processing payments.
- Maintain and update patient records, including filing charts and ensuring confidentiality.
- Perform general administrative duties such as managing correspondence, emails, and office supplies.
- Assist in coordinating communication between medical staff and patients.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a medical office or similar setting.
- Proficient in using computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) to communicate with clients.
