Now Hiring: Industrial Cleaning Technician | Northeast Houston

Openwork is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaning Technician for a leading industrial facility in Northeast Houston . This role is vital to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment that supports efficient operations across the site.

As an Industrial Cleaning Technician, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all areas of the facility remain clean and hazard-free—including workspaces, equipment zones, and high-traffic areas. If you take pride in keeping things spotless and running smoothly, this is a great opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities :

• Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors throughout the facility.
• Clean and restock restrooms and break areas.
• Wipe down surfaces, windows, and machinery exteriors.
• Empty trash, recycling bins, and hoppers.
• Keep the shop floor clean and organized, promptly removing debris and spills.
• Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs.
• Follow safety protocols and operate cleaning equipment correctly.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of recent industrial or commercial cleaning experience.
• Comfortable working in environments with dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and dependability.

Schedule & Pay :

• Monday – Friday
• Pay Rate: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: 7am -4pm

Important Information : Candidates will be required to undergo background checks, including Criminal City, State, and National checks, Drug Screening in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
