Hiring :- K–12 School Counselor

Location: United States

We are seeking a qualified and student-focused High School Counselor to support students in Grades 9–12 with academic planning, personal development, and post-secondary readiness. This role is central to helping students navigate high school successfully while preparing for college, career, and life beyond graduation.

The ideal candidate is a thoughtful professional who can provide structured guidance, clear direction, and consistent support while collaborating closely with students, families, and school leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic, personal, and developmental counseling to high school students (Grades 9–12)
• Guide students in course selection, credit tracking, graduation requirements, and academic goal-setting
• Support students and families through college admissions, financial aid awareness, and post-secondary planning
• Assist students with career exploration, pathway planning, and readiness for college or workforce transitions
• Conduct individual counseling sessions and small group workshops focused on student well-being and decision-making
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address academic or behavioral concerns
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate counseling records in compliance with school and state policies

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or a related field
• Valid School Counselor certification/licensure in the United States (state-specific)
• Experience working with high school students
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of high school academic pathways, college admissions processes, and career planning frameworks
