🚀 Freelance Recruiter – VC-Backed Startup & Agency Experience

We’re seeking a high-performing freelance recruiter ( commission based ) with a proven track record—or strong ambition—to place top talent in high-growth, VC-backed startups from Seed through Series C . You can make anywhere from ($10k-$70k+/ placement).

✅ About You:

• You’ve worked as a recruiter within an agency or in-house with startups , or both.
• You’ve successfully placed candidates at VC-funded startups , especially in the Seed to Series C stages—or you're hungry to do so and have the skills to back it up.
• You live and breathe recruiting: sourcing, screening, pitching, and closing talent in competitive markets.
• You're comfortable working independently with startup founders or hiring managers to build world-class teams.
• You're proactive, organized, and resourceful. No hand-holding needed.

🎯 What You'll Do:

• Partner with early-stage startups to understand hiring needs and build hiring plans.
• Source and engage top-tier candidates for technical, go-to-market, and operations roles.
• Own the recruitment process end-to-end: sourcing, screening, coordinating, and closing.
• Provide market insights, improve recruiting workflows, and deliver a seamless candidate experience.

💡 Requirements:

• 2+ years of recruiting experience (agency, in-house, or freelance).
• Demonstrated experience working with venture-backed startups , ideally Seed to Series C.
• Excellent communication skills with both candidates and stakeholders.
• Strong sourcing chops and a knack for finding talent others miss.
• Available to take on freelance or contract work immediately.

Bonus Points If:

• You have a strong personal network in tech/startup hiring.
• You’ve hired across different verticals (engineering, product, GTM, etc.).
• You’ve worked with founders or founding teams directly.
