IDR is seeking a Field Support Engineer to join one of our top clients in New York City. This role is pivotal in supporting and maintaining speed and red-light enforcement systems across North America. As a Field Support Engineer, you will be the technical expert on the ground, ensuring systems are installed, calibrated, and functioning optimally. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Field Support Engineer:

Provide hands-on field support and diagnostics for system deployments, ensuring swift and professional resolution of incidents. Participate in the installation, testing, and calibration of road safety systems, collaborating with partners and local authorities. Deliver technical training and create clear documentation for partners, operators, and client field teams. Manage local spare parts and logistics to ensure high system availability and readiness. Coordinate with international engineering and R&D teams to escalate and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Required Skills for Field Support Engineer:

Over 10 years of experience in field service or technical support for electronic or industrial systems. Strong diagnostic and repair skills for complex systems, including electronics and IP networking. Proven ability to work autonomously in the field with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills, capable of training and explaining technical concepts to non-technical users. Willingness to travel across North America and occasionally to France for training and workshops.
