An Austin-based family is seeking a capable, hands-on Family Assistant who thrives in a hybrid role blending personal assistant, household support, and estate administrative duties. This is not a traditional 9-to-5 position—it requires someone who is flexible, committed to follow-through, and comfortable stepping into different roles as the day demands. You’ll be a key point of support in the smooth functioning of the household, helping the principals manage their time, space, and various logistics with precision and care.
Core Responsibilities:
Personal Assistant Duties
Calendar management, scheduling, and coordination for family members
Travel research, planning, and booking (domestic and international)
Errand running, reservations, gifting, and event-related support
Oversight of personal tasks, including vendor coordination and appointment setting
Household Support Duties
Light home organization and upkeep (tidying, systems, supply restocking)
Coordinating with housekeepers, vendors, and service providers
Helping ensure the home environment is clean, orderly, and efficient
Occasional backup childcare and child-related logistics (as needed)
Estate Administrative Duties
Filing, documentation, and expense tracking related to household operations
Managing vendor invoices, service schedules, and renewals
Assisting in the creation of systems to streamline estate management
Supporting estate-wide communication, record-keeping, and planning
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in personal or family assistant roles, estate support, or similar
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Flexible, solution-oriented, and comfortable working independently
Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of family privacy
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Tech-savvy and confident managing digital calendars, documents, and apps
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Local to Austin or willing to relocate
