Job Description
We are looking for a Factory Operative to join our rural Herefordshire/Powys border client. This is a hands-on role where you'll operate machinery within a highly regulated manufacturing environment, with full training provided. What you can expect:
- £29,374.80 per annum, rising to £30,030 per annum
- Shift pattern: 4 on, 4 off rotating days and nights
- Hours: 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am)
- Holidays: 24 days annual leave

What you will be doing:
- Operate complex machinery across production lines, ensuring targets are met safely and efficiently
- Monitor online data systems to uphold production quality standards
- Troubleshoot machine-related issues using problem-solving skills to minimise downtime
- Complete daily routines, perform quality checks, and maintain accurate documentation
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in manufacturing
- Food or drink industry experience preferred but not essential
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills in English
- A proactive attitude
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
