DISPATCHER
Corona, CA
Salary: $23-$25/hour
RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Act as a liaison for the day-to-day routing between Customer Care, Inbound Logistics, Shipping and Transportation.
• Verify items shipped by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, noting discrepancies.
• Reviews weekly demand/volume for routes
• Re-routes, Plans, distributes, monitors and preforms follows-up on daily route assignments
• Communicates changes to shipping, transportation and customers as needed in real time.
• Ensures that trucks are mapped to make their deliveries.
• Inspects loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.
• Interacts with drivers regarding their routes and load quality

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Takes initiative and works well independently.
• Capability of prioritizing and handling multiple projects.
• Good attitude and able to work effectively with peers
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience of related experience.
• Must have strong Microsoft computer skills-
