Job Description
JD:
Daily Operations Coordination
- Verify merchants’ pickup tasks daily based on system data, prioritize unfinished tasks from the previous day, and update the pickup schedule in real time.
- Optimize routing logic (based on factors such as distance, package volume, vehicle type, and operation time), assign tasks to drivers, and generate handover slips.
- Supervise drivers’ pre-departure checks (accounts, devices, vehicle condition), lead morning briefings, and coordinate post-return inspections and key collection.
Merchant Communication & Collaboration
- Make daily calls to key merchants (approximately 10%) to confirm pickup time, volume, and special requests; summarize and update the system accordingly.
- Monitor merchant volume fluctuations and work with dispatchers to adjust task priorities to ensure pickup efficiency.
Driver Dispatch & Progress Monitoring
- Monitor on-time pickup rates in real time, track task progress, and coordinate with quality control to adjust plans for serious delays.
- Handle on-site driver issues (e.g., device malfunctions, volume discrepancies) and work with dispatchers for quick resolution and record-keeping.
Data Management & Log Maintenance
- Consolidate daily pickup data (on-time rate, completion rate, exceptions), update logs, and share with relevant departments.
- Support warehouse dispatch in coordinating cargo sorting and secondary transport connection.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related fields.
- 1+ year of experience in logistics dispatch, courier operations, or related areas; familiar with routing logic and vehicle dispatch procedures.
Core Skills
3. Proficient in using logistics management systems; capable of processing data and optimizing task assignments efficiently.
4. Strong communication and coordination skills; able to effectively interact with merchants, drivers, and cross-functional teams.
5. Clear logical thinking, multitasking ability, and quick decision-making under unexpected situations.
Other Requirements
6. Willingness to work flexible hours (rotating early and late shifts between 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM).
7. Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
8. Familiarity with the Los Angeles area geography is preferred.
