Job Overview:
A Real Estate Investment Firm is seeking a Director of Investor Relations to lead investor relations and capital-raising efforts. This leadership role will focus on growing capital investments from new and existing high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) investors, building relationships with centers of influence (COIs), RIAs, and family offices, and ensuring an exceptional investor experience aligned with the firm's core values.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead capital-raising efforts by engaging prospects and deepening relationships with existing investors
Build and manage a robust referral network from investors and internal team members
Represent the firm at investor meetings, events, and presentations
Deliver exceptional investor experiences that lead to retention, referrals, and positive reviews
Conduct regular investor reviews and identify additional investment opportunities
Maintain accurate CRM activity tracking and utilize tools such as Salesforce and Appfolio
Achieve quarterly and monthly KPIs including new investor additions, capital commitments, and referral conversions
Create and deliver internal and external training and content
Collaborate across business units and refer clients to other company services as appropriate
Actively participate in company and industry events to stay current on trends and offerings
Qualifications:
Proven success in financial services, private banking, or wealth management, working with HNW/UHNW clients
Strong background in account management and client relations
Real estate investment experience preferred
Experience working with IRA custodians and broker-dealers is a plus
Strong communication, follow-up, and presentation skills
High attention to detail, responsiveness, and commitment to excellence
Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and a data-driven mindset
