Clinical Education Director – Hospice

What You’ll Do

As Clinical Education Director, you’ll be the driving force behind our clinical training strategy — developing programs that support excellence in care, ensure compliance, and empower staff across all our hospice locations. You'll be the connection point between compliance and compassion, translating standards into real-world learning that equips teams to deliver the best possible care.

Here’s what your day-to-day might include:

• Designing and leading training programs for hospice staff — from onboarding to ongoing education.
• Working with administrators, clinical leaders, and marketing teams to ensure all education aligns with real-world needs and strategic goals.
• Performing site visits, audits, and chart reviews to identify gaps and tailor training accordingly.
• Creating and updating policies, procedures, and training materials based on industry standards and regulatory changes.
• Supporting documentation accuracy and quality initiatives, including HQRP, HOPE, and other CMS programs.
• Participating in performance improvement activities and assisting agencies with corrective action planning.
• Providing both on-site and web-based education that’s clear, relevant, and easy to apply.
• Fostering a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous learning.

What You’ll Bring

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (required)
• At least 5 years of hospice experience preferred — you know the challenges, the regulations, and the heart it takes
• Strong presentation, writing, and communication skills
• Comfort with tech — you know your way around Microsoft Office, web meeting platforms, and learning systems
• A strategic mind with an educator’s heart — someone who can see the big picture but isn’t afraid to dig into the details
