Job Summary:
The Labs Operations D2 supports on-site drone delivery operations for Client Labs. This role does not involve flying drones but focuses on ground operations that make each delivery successful. Responsibilities include picking up food orders from local merchants using a personal vehicle, transporting them to the drone launch site, loading drones safely, and ensuring operational accuracy. The position requires reliability, strong communication, and adherence to safety protocols in a dynamic test environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up food orders from assigned merchants using a personal vehicle and deliver them to the drone site.
- Prepare, handle, and load orders into drones with accuracy, safety, and quality standards.
- Support smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced test environment.
- Identify and report issues or observations to improve processes and technology.
- Follow safety protocols and site procedures precisely.
- Maintain an organized workflow to ensure on-time operational execution.
- Adapt to evolving processes and operational needs.
- Collaborate closely with a small, mission-driven operations team.
- Report observations to engineers, operators, and cross-functional partners.
- Interact professionally with merchants and members of the community.
Required Skills:
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Need High School as on education.
- Ability to work outdoors and stand for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic with punctuality, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability.
- Strong communication and professionalism with merchants, teammates, and community members.
