Data Center Technical Operations Engineer

6-month contract possible extension or conversion

Daily Schedule:

Schedule is 4 days a week the options are below:

Front Half: Sun-Wed

Back Half: Wed-Sat

Both day and night shift schedules are available:

Day Shift: 6am-6pm

Night Shift: 6pm-6am

MUST HAVES:

• Basic mechanical or electrical experience
• Electrical –

Powering up racks, checking voltages, making sure correct voltage before hooking them up

Alternating or direct current

• Mechanical –

Pumps, valves, air conditioning systems

• 1+ year of critical operations experience
• Healthcare, Utilities, Oil Rigs, Chemical Plants

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Data Center Technical Operations Engineer, Facility will be responsible for Data Center Engineering Operations within a large Data Center including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management, and metric reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage both routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as; switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
• assist in the design and build out of new facilities.
• assist in projects to increase current facility efficiency.
• Responsible for asset and inventory management.
• Assist in recruiting efforts· Deliver quality service and ensure all customer demands are met.
