To help better support our Data Center clients, Insight Global is seeking candidates who are interested in pursuing various roles within a data center environment! As we continue to receive high demand for these focused skillsets, we will be developing a pipeline of strong candidates with experience in Infrastructure, Operations, and Engineering.

If you wish to be a part of this network, you must be willing to work fully on-site between Boardman/Hermiston/Umatilla and be comfortable in a hands-on position.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking to hire a highly motivated, best-in-class Network Technician to join our team within network infrastructure deployment on a temporary basis. The candidate will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the expansion of our next-generation networks. The position responsibilities will include scaling support of several data center locations and be responsible for day to day assistance with capacity management. The Network Technician will work closely with both internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution as directed by Technical Program Managers.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 6+ months of experience in an IT Support, Infrastructure, Operations or Engineering role.
• Ability to work with infrastructure equipment for installing, racking and stacking, and data center set up
• Self-motivated and ability to work with little to no supervision
• Able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours daily
• Basic computer knowledge for documentation, follow up, and communication.

• Networking Certifications (CompTIA Network+)
• IT Support Certifications (CompTIA+)
• Previous Data Center experience
• Cable management Experience
