Job Description

The Data Analyst Supply Chain will be responsible to extract, prepare, interpret, analyze and present the data needed by the Supply Chain department to decide about the replenishment and reordering activities to be executed.

Responsibilities

• Provide the data analysis to the SCM team to support the decisions for all the store and inflight replenishment and fulfillment decisions
• On predefined intervals:

-Extract the needed data from the central systems

-Validate and, if needed, sanitize and complete the data

-Transform and format the data for easier analysis

-Review the data to propose replenishment quantities for the stores and inflight operation, as well as reorder quantities from the vendors

-Provide the findings and proposal to the SCM team members and other departments

-Analyze the data to identify trends and present the findings to the SCM team members and the retail operations

• On a monthly basis prepare and present a set of SCM analysis:

-Stock on hand and aging review

-Vendor fulfillment analysis

-Out of stock review

-Replenishment completion analysis

• Execute other ad-hoc data analysis which are needed to support the retail operations and top management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, business, supply chain or related field, preferred.
• Extensive experience in analyzing complex data sets, preferably within the consumer goods and/or retail industry
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel and, if possible, Microsoft Power BI
• Strong analytical capability, able to design, create and manage data repository needed to store and analyze the data
• Experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics AX preferred)
• Capable to communicate with non technical team members about their business and translate their requirements into data sets and data analysis
• Capable to maintain a professional and constructive relationship with all the stakeholders under any circumstance.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to sit the majority of the time, walking and standing occasionally.
