CNC Mill Machinist – 1st & 2nd Shift | Summerville, SC
Join a cutting-edge team building next-generation steam turbines for Navy and commercial clients! We’re seeking experienced CNC Mill Machinists skilled in Kitamura and Fadal machines to work in a state-of-the-art facility.
What You’ll Do:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines (Kitamura & Fadal) to precise tolerances (±0.001”)
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments
- Inspect finished parts using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers)
- Collaborate with programming and quality teams
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years CNC milling experience (Kitamura/Fadal preferred)
- Ability to read technical drawings and G-code
- Strong machining knowledge and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must be eligible for DoD security clearance
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with conversational controls and/or Fanuc
Pay: $55,000–$86,000/year (based on experience)
Location: Summerville, SC
Shifts: 1st & 2nd available
