Central Transport, LLC is searching for ambitious and goal-oriented cash application clerk to join our accounting department at our corporate office in Warren, MI. This is a full time opportunity, working Monday – Friday during regular business hours. If you love a challenge and thrive in a fast-paced environment this is a great opportunity for you!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Generates accounting statements and reports.
• Researches cash receipts, coding and posting of receipts.
• Prepares daily bank deposit.
• Researches and applies unallocated cash.
• Oversees accounts receivable write-offs and payment reversals.
• Develops automated spreadsheets.
• Organizes and maintains up to date financial records.
• Provides monthly financial and management reports.
• Solid background with Excel, Outlook and Great Plains, etc.

Qualifications:

• AA, BA, BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration preferred. High school diploma required
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Great Plains
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
