What would you do as a Call Center Representative?

As a temp Call Center Representative at Christian Community Credit Union , you will have the exciting opportunity to proactively educate members on our array of products and services. By leveraging your product knowledge and building rapport, you will effectively communicate the benefits of various account types, guiding members and applicants in selecting the options that best suit their needs. Your role will involve delivering an outstanding member experience that meets or exceeds expectations through diverse channels such as phone, email, chat, and SMS.

While assisting members with both monetary and non-monetary transactions, you will also tackle inquiries and problem-solving with confidence. By taking ownership of new and different requests, you will enhance our organization’s reputation. Additionally, you will establish additional services by creating account records over the phone, ensuring a seamless and fulfilling banking experience for every member.

Are you the Call Center Representative we're looking for?

To thrive as a temp Call Center Representative at Christian Community Credit Union , several essential skills and qualifications are required. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, along with a minimum of one year of experience in a customer service position within a bank or credit union setting. Cross-selling experience is critical, as you will be tasked with guiding members through our diverse product offerings.

Additionally, having at least one year of experience dealing with the public in a call center environment and bilingual skills in English & Spanish are preferred. Familiarity with accounting principles is advantageous, as is the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere. Proficiency with computer systems, strong organizational capabilities, and keen attention to detail are vital, along with excellent telephone techniques, verbal and written communication skills, good math aptitude, and accurate typing skills at a minimum of 35 words per minute.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year of experience working in a customer service position for a bank/credit union required
  • Cross-selling experience required
  • Minimum one year of experience dealing with the public in a call center environment preferred
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and knowledge of accounting principles preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment & work with computer systems
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and telephone techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good math aptitude and accurate typing skills at 35 wpm
  • Ability to work onsite in San Dimas, CA, Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:15pm, 40 hours per week (temp assignment duration is three to six months)
