Le Macaron French Pastries offers an array of authentic French macarons, pastries, gelato, fine chocolates, coffee and other tantalizing treats. We are looking for part-time, enthusiastic, dedicated individuals to join our team. Earn HOURLY WAGES + TIPS and employee discounts!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Well organized and energetic
• Self-motivated team player
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
• Exceptional CUSTOMER SERVICE skills, PROFESSIONALISM and a strong WORK ETHIC
• Able to work independently and efficiently in a sometimes fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous job experience in food retail/sales industry a plus
• Basic math skills for cash handling/POS and order processing
• ServSafe a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly manner
• Create a positive and unique customer experience by providing helpful and high quality service
• Full working knowledge of Le Macaron French Pastries product offerings and the ability to educate and answer customer's questions about menu items
• Advise customers about sales and promotions
• Using up-selling techniques to increase store sales
• Assist with food preparation, such as assembling macarons, gelato sandwiches, pastries, etc.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food and beverage quality and sanitation standards are met
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by restocking throughout your shift, before opening, and after closing, bussing tables, washing dishes and cleaning and sanitizing location
• Follow opening and closing procedures
