Are you a results-driven sales professional with a deep understanding of commercial construction and architectural products? BlackBerry Window & Door Systems is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative to join our team and drive the promotion, marketing, and sales of our luxury, light commercial, and multi-family window & door products and services

As a frontline representative, you'll engage directly with developers, architects, construction managers, and institutions, presenting our innovative products and services to secure valuable contracts. You'll act as an architectural consultant, providing expert project analysis, product design recommendations, budget pricing, and comprehensive reports to support project development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Business Development: Promote, market, and sell BlackBerry's luxury, light commercial, and multi-family products (windows, doors, glazing, skylights, etc.) to prospective clients, including developers, architects, construction managers, and public/private institutions.
  • Client Engagement & Consulting: Conduct direct presentations, demonstrate product features, and assist clients with project analysis, product design, and budget pricing.
  • Proposal & Contract Management: Prepare accurate proposals, assist with contract negotiations, and secure project contracts for BlackBerry products and services.
  • Product Expertise: Become a master of BlackBerry's product offerings, understanding their capabilities, applications, and specifications.
  • Lead Generation & Marketing: Serve as the point person for marketing and lead generation efforts, including personal outreach to architects, general contractors, facility directors, and property managers. This includes managing literature, website and digital marketing, shows, events, and working with marketing vendors.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and nurture long-term, trusted relationships with clients, prospects, and vendor partners.
  • Vendor Communication: Regularly communicate with vendor sales, estimating, and technical departments regarding product capabilities, applications, specifications, and pricing.
  • Estimating Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Estimator and Project Manager to determine appropriate labor and material costs, analyze job costs, and refine early budget pricing for clients.
  • Project Bidding: Collaborate with the Project Estimator, General Manager, and Project Manager to strategically select and pursue projects for bidding.
  • Reporting: Assemble well-crafted reports to assist in project development for owners and architects.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction trades and/or estimating.
  • Minimum 5 years of estimating and sales experience with commercial windows.
  • Education: Four-year college degree preferred in Sales and Marketing, Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional analytical, writing, communication, and general math skills.
  • Strong marketing skills, including digital, print, sales promotion, graphics, and photography.
  • Commercial and residential blueprint comprehension.
  • Basic drafting/drawing skills; CAD experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with standard architectural bidding documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Personal Attributes:

  • Well-organized, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • Respectful conduct towards colleagues and clients.
  • Certifications: CDT Certification preferred.
  • Requirements:
  • Valid and current driver's license with no DUI in the last 7 years.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a 10-panel drug test and company physical examination.
  • No felony convictions (full disclosure required if applicable).
  • Good health; non-smoker preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:

This is a permanent, full-time salaried position with an attractive Sales Commission structure.

  • Work Schedule: Generally 40-50 hours per week, with typical hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Salary: Based on experience and skill level.
