Job Summary

Veterans Alliance is hiring Aircraft Mechanics for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico, supporting V-22 Osprey (CV-22/MV-22/CMV-22) maintenance operations. This position involves heavy, depot, and O-level maintenance and is ideal for experienced military or civilian mechanics with a background on tiltrotor platforms.

Heavy/Depot/O-Level maintenance experience required

Key Responsibilities

Perform inspection, repair, overhaul, and modification of V-22 aircraft systems
Conduct structural, hydraulic, and flight control maintenance per technical manuals
Troubleshoot and repair airframe and powerplant systems
Perform phase, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance
Utilize technical orders, blueprints, and maintenance documentation to ensure compliance
Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and accuracy in all maintenance operations

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of total aircraft maintenance experience – REQUIRED
Minimum 1 year of hands-on V-22 experience – REQUIRED
Experience performing heavy, depot, and O-level maintenance
Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical publications and schematics
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass background/drug screening
A&P License not required

Schedule & Compensation

Pay Rate: $35.36/hr
Per Diem: Up to $1,120 weekly (if eligible)
Assignment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
