What you’ll do:

✅ Lead and develop your team, fostering strong performance, accountability, and ongoing growth.

✅ Support process improvement initiatives, implement controls, and collaborate with stakeholders to make operations more efficient.

✅ Handle large volumes of payments and complex supplier relationships, addressing issues quickly and professionally.

✅ Manage high-profile payments and high-value vendors, optimizing cash flow while preserving strong supplier relationships.

✅ Support financial closing by reconciling accounts payable and preparing related reports.

✅ Implement and oversee internal controls to align with company policy and external regulations (including 1099 and sales/use taxes).

✅ Partner with Procurement, Inventory, Project Management, and Accounting teams to enable smooth workflows.

✅ Drive technology innovations, including evaluating and implementing a new enterprise platform for payments and expense management.

What you bring:

🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or AP certifications a plus)

🔹 7+ years of progressively responsible accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

🔹 Strong knowledge of 3-way matching and inventory-related payments

🔹 Proficiency in Excel, ERP, and payments software (expense reimbursement, invoice workflows)

🔹 Experience with invoice automation and process improvement initiatives is a plus

🔹 Familiarity with payments methods (EFT, ACH, credit card reconciliation)

🔹 Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

🔹 Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving abilities and a process-centric mindset
